Three and a half months into the year. Wow, where has the time gone? I’m trying to be better organized with my projects. I’ve started a crochet book, where I’m writing down my projects, yarn and hooks used, patterns, etc. It’s helping. I crochet for relaxation, but I also make things to sell at craft shows. I used to do any and all craft shows I could find. Now, I do a big one in the fall, and maybe a few little ones here and there, but I generally just concentrate on the fall show. I did commit to doing a fundraiser in August though, for the pet rescue where I got my most recent baby, a sweet little Yorkie, about a month ago.
Anyway, here are some of my projects completed so far this year:
The latest completion is this cute giraffe pillow. Pattern is from Leisure Arts book, “Fun Animal Pillows”
Then there’s this scarf, no pattern, just hdc.
I made this nice warm throw for me out of blanket yarn I found at a thrift store. It came to n handy when we had our freak snowstorm a few weeks ago (18 inches in one day in northern Arizona!) and we were without power for about 6 hours.
These are current WIPs:
A C2C throw
A lacy summer top
I’m also working on a few other projects that I haven’t gotten around to taking pictures of yet – an owl pillow, an amigurumi elephant, another scarf. I’ll get pics soon.
Until next time.
